In a historic event to take place in the United States of America, a President has been impeached not once – but twice in one term.
We had one of our field correspondents – Alex Yang – interview a few Trump supporters following this momentous event.
“A Democratic President could have never accomplished what Trump just did,” spoke one Trump supporter. “We’ve been telling you for years that Trump is #1 in everything. This proves it. Trump has not one, but two impeachments under his belt. Show me even one Democrat who has accomplished this. I bet you can’t.”
Correspondent Yang tried explaining to him that being impeached is disgraceful, but the Trump supporter wasn’t fazed. It’s also relevant to note that this same person believes that being the world leader in Covid-19 deaths is a good thing. Evidently, some individuals think, “the bigger the number the better the outcome,” is a universal truth. This is false.
That all being said, however, in a certain sense the Trump supporter wasn’t entirely wrong. Objectively speaking, Donald J. Trump will go down as the President with the highest number of impeachments, ever.
