Fwitter has been under fire lately, owing to concerns over the censorship of conservative viewpoints and opinions. I, The Sarcastic Republican, was fortunate enough to interview Fwitter’s CEO, Mack Porsey concerning this very subject.
TSR: “Mr. Porsey, thank you for taking the time out of your busy day to talk to me. I’ll get right to it. Conservatives across America are upset that your private company decided to permanently suspend – he who must not be named – over his ‘conservative’ fweets. What say you?”
Mack Porsey: “We never have and never will censor users for having conservative political viewpoints and opinions.”
TSR: “Oof, I think a lot of people would disagree. I have a list of conservative political viewpoints here. I’m going to go down this list, one-by-one, and you tell me if Fwitter has ever censored such content. Sounds good?”
Mack Porsey: “Sounds good.”
TSR: “Has Fwitter ever censored a person for wanting lower taxes?“
Mack Porsey: “No.”
TSR: “Has Fwitter ever censored a person for wanting smaller government?“
Mack Porsey: “No.”
TSR: “Has Fwitter ever censored a person for being pro-life?“
Mack Porsey: “No.”
TSR: “Has Fwitter ever censored a person for promoting family values?“
Mack Porsey: “No”
TSR: “Has Fwitter ever censored a person for wanting stricter voter-id laws?“
Mack Porsey: “No.”
TSR: “Has Fwitter ever censored a person for supporting free market capitalism?“
Mack Porsey: “No”
TSR: “Has Fwitter ever censored a person for wanting government deregulation?“
Mack Porsey: “No”
TSR: “Has Fwitter ever censored a person for wanting an increased military budget?“
Mack Porsey: “No”
TSR: “Has Fwitter ever censored a person for wanting to restrict immigration?“
Mack Porsey: “No”
TSR: “Has Fwitter ever censored a person for opposing drug legalization?“
Mack Porsey: “No”
TSR: “Has Fwitter ever censored a person for inciting violence?“
Mack Porsey: “Yes.”
TSR: “AH-HA! So you DO admit to censoring conservative values!!”
Mack Porsey: “Is inciting violence through an armed insurrection considered a conservative value?”
TSR: “…”
Mack Porsey: “Well is it?”
TSR: “No?”
Mack Porsey: “Exactly.”
